Q: What is paramotoring?A: Paramotoring is a powered paragliding experience that allows you to fly with a lightweight motorized glider. It's a safe and thrilling way to see Chiang Mai from the sky!

Q: Do I need experience to fly?A: No experience is needed! Our certified instructors will guide you through the entire process, and you'll fly tandem with a professional pilot.

Q: Where is UPPER in the AIR located?A: Our airfield is between Chiang Mai and Lamphun, just 30 minutes from Chiang Mai city. The location is carefully chosen for safety, accessibility, and stunning views.

Booking & Flight Details

Q: How do I book a flight?A: You can book via Facebook Instagram, or call us directly. We recommend booking at least 1-2 days to secure your preferred time.

Q: What time are the flights available?A: We operate daily with two flight sessions:
Morning: 6:30 AM - 9:00 AM
Evening: 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM

Q: How long does a flight last?A: Each flight lasts 15-20 minutes (or up to 25 minutes for the sunrise/sunset package).

Q: What if the weather is bad?A: Safety comes first! If weather conditions are unsafe, we offer:
✅ Free rescheduling with 5-10 extra minutes of flight time
✅ The option to transfer your booking to someone else (valid for 6 months)
✅ A full refund if no other option is suitable

Q: Are there any weight or health restrictions?A: For safety reasons, we have the following requirements:

Q: Can I bring my phone or camera?A: We provide a free GoPro camera for you to use during the flight! Personal devices are allowed but must be securely attached.

Transportation

Q: Do you offer hotel pick-up and drop-off?A: Yes! We provide free pick-up from hotels within Chiang Mai city. Please share your hotel name and location when booking.

Q: What time should I arrive at the airfield?A: Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled flight to complete safety instructions and preparation.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

Q: How do I pay?A: We accept cash and credit card payments. You can choose to pay in full or place a 500 THB deposit per person to secure your booking.

Q: Can I cancel or reschedule my flight?A:✅ Rescheduling is allowed with 1-2 days’ notice
✅ You can transfer your flight to someone else within 3 months ( allowed with 1-2 days’ notice)❌ No refunds for cancellations by the customer

Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 6 years old. It is not advisable for individuals over 70 years old to participate.Adult & Child Pricing: Adults and children are charged the same rate, unless a child is sitting on a parent's lap, in which case a separate child price will be quoted.Medical Clearance for Seniors: Participants over 70 years old must provide a medical certificate confirming they are fit to fly.Accessibility Restrictions: This activity is not recommended for individuals with limited mobility or those using wheelchairs.Health Restrictions: This experience is not suitable for individuals with serious medical conditions (e.g., high blood pressure, epilepsy), pregnant women, or elderly individuals with health concerns.Weight Limit: The maximum allowable weight per participant is 120KG. For safety reasons, individuals exceeding this limit will not be permitted to fly.Booking Accuracy & Additional Charges: Participants are responsible for ensuring accurate booking details (e.g., child’s age, height, number of people, etc.). Any discrepancies upon arrival may result in additional charges, which must be paid before the activity begins.Cancellations & Flight Conditions:
In rare cases where the Paramotor experience needs to be canceled, we will notify you in advance and offer a rescheduled flight, an alternative tour, or a full refund.The pilot-in-command has the sole authority to determine if a flight can proceed based on safety conditions.If there is no official postponement notification from our ground staff, participants are required to arrive on time as scheduled.Failure to arrive on time will be considered a no-show, and the booking will be forfeited without a refund.📌 For any further inquiries, feel free to contact us before your flight.
